FAQs

  • A U.S Passport is required for travel from the U.S.A to Umrah. Green card holders are not permitted at this time.
  • Only fully vaccinated individuals, regardless of age, are permitted at this time. There are no age limits for seniors.
  • 4 nights at the Madinah Hilton Hotel
  • 4 nights at Conrad Hilton Hotel
  • Flights depart from LAX, Dallas, Houston, Chicago and NY at no additional cost
  • What airlines will we be taking?
    • DST is working with either Qatar, Turkish, or Emirates Airlines. Details will be provided as they are confirmed.
  • The Saudi Government has mandated that only families can stay in a room together, and that room assignments must max out at triple occupancy. If you are traveling as a family of five, you will be given one triple and one double room and charged accordingly.
  • If you are traveling with a friend and would like to room together, you must book together to ensure you are assigned rooms together.
Children are welcome if they are over the age of 12 and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccine must be provided. If your child is under the age limit for getting a vaccine, then the Saudi Government will not be able to accommodate them and provide a visa. Their rule currently stands as no visitor is exempt from vaccines, regardless of their age.
At this time, the Saudi Government requires all travelers (all members of the house hold, children included) to have their own smart device on which they will download two apps – one for their health records, and one for reserving their prayers and rituals.
  • The mandated traveler app only allows you to reserve one umrah during your visit, therefore you can expect to make only one umrah, legally.
  • The app allows only two prayers in Masjid al Haram a day. We advise group members to try and enter through the second floor of the Haram to attend prayers that they are not registered for.
  • Unlimited prayers without reservations are allowed in Masjid Nabwi
Many shops are still closed to the public at this time in both Makkah and Madinah, as well as many restaurants.
