In the AM, students in 9th and 10th grade will work towards completing the memorization of the Quran, along with following a set curriculum for Islamic and Arabic Studies. In the PM, students will complete their college preparatory courses to enable them to successfully pass the CHSPE and place college level on community college placement exams.
In the spring of their sophomore year, students are encouraged to register to take the California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) in order to complete their high school studies. Upon passing the CHSPE and completing annual standardized testing, students receive a Certificate of Proficiency High School Diploma from the California State Board of Education.
IOK High School graduates and alumni will then have priority admission into the IOK Seminary Program. This exclusively unique program facilitates students concurrently completing their college/university studies while furthering their higher Islamic Studies.
