The Hifdh al-Quran (Quran Memorization) Program offers an opportunity for boys and girls (ages 11 and above) to memorize the Noble Quran with emphasis on proper application of tajweed rules. The entire memorization is targeted to be completed in 3 to 5 years based on the students demonstrated ability to memorize and retain.
Since our founding in 1998, we have graduated over 60 huffadh. Each Ramadan, our huffadh along with their teachers serve 20+ Islamic centers and masjids throughought the region as Imams leading taraweeh and qiyam prayers and delivering nightly Quranic reflections. They are performing these services by night, while during the day like many of us, they maintain their full-time jobs, attend their high schools & colleges, and also fulfill their responsibilities towards their families.

Fees are based on a 12 month school year, from August 1st – July 31st. Parents (or Students if over 21) will be required to submit annual fees prior to July 15th (or upon enrollment for new students) each year in order to keep their accounts current.
Tuition is collected on a month-by-month basis for this program. Though students are expected to commit to the program until they complete their memorization, we do not penalize families if a student puts their learning on hold for a month or more, provided that parents request permission from the IOK Hifdh Al-Quran Director two weeks prior to any such temporary withdrawal, and any tuition suspension will be for one month intervals beginning the 1st of the up-coming month. Monthly tuition will not be pro-rated for non-attendance.
*Sibling discounts are available.
All fees are mandatory and non-refundable.
The IOK Hifdh Al-Qur’an Program is designed for completion of the memorization of the Qur’an, and students are accepted into the program based on their motivation to achieve this commitment. There are no pre-requisites for knowing Arabic to get started with this program – our teachers are equipped to help carry you through the entirety of this journey.
This program primarily accepts students grades 11 and above. Anyone younger is accepted on a case-by-case basis. Younger students are instead encouraged to join IOK school, unless they are already pursing academic education through some other method.
All enrollment is via Sycamore School Education Portal’s Online Admissions. All new and re-enrolling students will be required to complete their admissions via the on-line process. After receiving an on-line inquiry, the family will be contacted for next steps. Oral interviews with all prospective parents and students are also a mandatory part of the admissions process.
